Blow out

So about an hour into the drive we pull over with a blown tire. That in itself is no big deal but we lucked into a blow out in the depths of a shanty town with almost no light.

We were instantly besieged by locals yelling all kinds of things which no one would translate except to say " watch your bags very carefully"


Pit crew

With the driver storming around in somewhat of a panic unsure of what to do, Duffy stepped in and played pit crew. The driver couldn't even get the trunk open to get the jack, when Duffy was able to do it the driver said he must be a thief or something to that effect. Anyway, we changed the tire in the near dark on the side of what barely constitutes a freeway with cars flying by within inches of our pit crew and got back on the road.
